Brandy Weidman, DHSc, M.Ed, RT(R), CT, RDMS, RVT

Brandy has worked in the Medical Imaging field since 2004. She enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, traveling, floating the White River, reading, and showering her dogs, Maggie and Chief, with all the extra dog things they desperately need! Brandy graduated from University of Arkansas- Fort Smith (UAFS) in 2005 and 2007, completing an Associate degree in Radiography and a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. While employed at a local hospital she earned a Masters degree in Education from the University of Arkansas- Fayetteville and began a new career as an Imaging Sciences Instructor at UAFS in 2011. In 2013, she started the first of her entrepreneur journeys by opening the first 3D/4D elective ultrasound studio in Fort Smith, AR. She sold the business to a close friend who still owns/operates it today so she could pursue a Doctor of Health Sciences degree, which she completed in 2019. In May 2023, Brandy resigned from UAFS as an Associate Professor to chase her dream of owning the first and only concierge Diagnostic Medical Sonography clinic in Fort Smith.

Brandy has a heart for people, preventive diseases, and personalized care. She also believes in removing barriers for patients needing access to care in Fort Smith and the surrounding area.  She is proud to offer many ultrasound services including Carotid Intima Media Thickness (CIMT) testing to clients. Using ultrasound technology, this safe and painless procedure measures the walls of your carotid artery (the large artery in your neck) and predicts future cardiovascular events, including heart attack and stroke. Brandy believes patients have a choice in who provides their ultrasounds, and she is committed to providing exceptional service, quality care, and affordable diagnostic and screening ultrasounds in the River Valley.
