  • Carotid-IMT Screening

Also known as the Arterial Stiffness Test, Artery Thickness and/or the Vascular age test, this two-part exam gives plaque size, location, echogenicity and carotid artery lumen reduction. It also gives a double-redundant average of the C-IMT which is the best single, non-invasive, surrogate endpoint for stroke and MI prediction.

  • ABDOMINAL AORTA

The abdominal aortic aneurysm is a relatively common and often fatal condition that primarily affects older patients. AAA’s account for nearly 15,000 deaths yearly. Our AAA ultrasound scan is simple, non invasive exam that measures the size and shape of the AAA looking for dilated areas, an important factor when deciding the best course of treatment for CVD.

    ABI

ABI is the ratio of the blood pressure in the lower legs to the blood pressure in the arms. Compared to the arm, lower blood pressure in the leg is a symptom of blocked arteries. The ABI is calculated by dividing the systolic blood pressure in the arteries at the ankle and foot by the higher of the two systolic blood pressures in the arms.

    CAROTID

Evaluation of carotid arteries to reveal plaque, which leads to stenosis of the vessels and possibly stroke.
